However, when it comes to likes and dislikes, the main problem that all companies fall prey to is opinions. Despite considering a particular game as their favorite, every franchise has a community that blames and calls out every bad thing about the game.

Back in 2009, when Infinity Ward released Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2, they decided to understand their fans’ opinions in a unique way. Robert Bowling, their lead developer, was given the responsibility for the job. The dev received over 2000 voicemails that he almost forgot to attend to during the time. Robert shared one of his clips on Twitter, baffling the entire community. “People Lost Their F**king Minds,” the Infinity Ward dev said as he played some exclusives for fans. Sadly, all users had to turn down their volumes as Modern Warfare fans were deeply unsatisfied with the game.

Plus, this turned against him, as the community wasn’t satisfied with the recently released beta. Fans were quite upset about footsteps being too loud, red dots being removed from minimaps, and many more. So, Robert’s witty move kind of turned against him.
