Industry insider Hunter pointed out one feature on the PlayStation Portal website and fans are loving the indications of this. The handheld gaming console market is intensely competitive nowadays. The Nintendo Switch is easily the highest-selling handheld console that has a huge number of fans. Launched in 2017, the Nintendo Switch has tons of exclusive titles from multiple extremely popular franchises.

With the PlayStation Portal entering the market, it’s expected to stir things up for the fans. If the Portal remote player produces decent performance, it will stomp over both the Switch as well as the Steam Deck. Both these consoles have some years into them and sometimes struggle with high-demanding titles. If the Portal can manage to run even PS5 exclusives seamlessly, then it can easily be one of the better options in the market right now.
