Why did the owner have to sell his brand new PlayStation?

Sometimes people try to compensate for their wishful desires with the help of some not-so-subtle truths. However, some lies cannot hide forever. A PS5 owner made the same mistake when he told his wife that his console is an air-purifier. As a result, after finding out the truth about the PS5, his wife decided to get rid of it.

Who could have thought that someone can attempt to pull a bold move like this? The man didn’t make a huge mistake, but it looks like his wife got angry for telling her the console was, in fact, an air freshener.

Another man in Taiwan posted this story on Facebook, revealing that he spotted someone selling their brand new console. He found it was very strange because someone selling their highly sought-after PS5 is for a cheaper price seems too good to be true.

The man’s sorrowful story resembled a South Korean cartoon by YouTuber Jangbbijju. In that story, a PS5 fan tried to fool his wife by proclaiming the PS5 to be a special router called ‘Plash Speed’. Because both the stories were too similar, a lot of people didn’t even believe it in the first place.

Jin Wu, the man buying the PS5, arranged the meeting with the seller. He found out later that the man never planned to sell the PS5 at first place, and it was all his wife’s decision.
