The Uncharted game has enough content to be made into a movie, and according to New York Times, Sony might be spending around $120 million on this movie.

The film will be the first from the brand new studio, The PlayStation Productions. The movie is supposed to be a prequel to the Uncharted game plot. It has a star-studded cast including Tom Holland, Sophia Taylor Ali, Tati Gabrielle, Antonio Banderas, and Mark Wahlberg. One tweet reveals that the trailer is finished and the movie will show an interesting chemistry between Drake and Sullivan.

PlayStation Studios seems set to achieve three objectives: increase audience outreach for games, bring products to Sony Pictures, and Showcase collaboration. This was explained by the studio head, Asad Qizilbash, as reported by New York Times.
