Many fans even started complaining about the bad raytracing shown in the PlayStation footage. According to them, the original graphics were much more creepy and more accurate than this one. As the fog and the brightness are tweaked without the need for it.
The first pic is the PS4 Pro, which has all the darkness and mood and atmosphere it should.
The second is PS5. The ruin the mold by brightening everything and removing all the dark, scary corners. Bland.

This was just the beginning as fans also started complaining about the ludicrous price of the game. Notably, the remake will be sold at $70, which made many fans compare the price with GTA as well as Demon Souls.
They argued that even though GTA is also making regular updates, they are not charging the whole price for it. This argument created a lot of heat amongst fans as they started bantering about the policies and accomplishments of both companies.
What? The Last of us was never remade, not even close.
The “remastered” is a fps and resolution boost. The texture, lighting and everything else was exactly the same. How is that a remake but the above isn’t?

doesnt change the fact you're charging full price for a graphical upgrade and some small added features. Even GTA V wasnt charging full price on its launch and now its still not full price its half the price of a new game!

Even though many fans may complain about the remastered version, some fans are extremely happy about the remake, because of how well the game actually had become.
