Twitter user Jonathan Richards posted a video showing off his GOS cosplay while cruising through the game. It also caught the attention of the game’s developer as they reposted this iconic moment on their Twitter channel.

What can you do for your favorite game apart from playing it? For now, we know what Jonathan Richards did to portray his love. On June 6, 2022, Jonathan posted a video on his Twitter handle dressed as a Samurai. The top-grossing title, Ghost Of Tsushima, remained the sole reason for his outfit inspiration. Apart from tagging the developers and publishers of the game, Jonathan also added a caption saying, ‘Just Chillin’ with my bud.’

It was just a matter of minutes that the post exploded with fans appreciating the gamer’s effort. Vividly, it also caught the attention of Sucker Punch Productions, who reposted it with a caption, ‘The ideal way to play!’ Mind you, they are the developers of the iconic game, so we believe that this moment will always have a special place in Jonathan’s heart.

Ghost of Tsushima is a third-person game released exclusively for the PlayStation 4. It is an open-world action stealth video game, focusing on a Samurai in 1274. Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, the game is set on the island of Tsushima in Japan.

The game turned out to be iconic as users experienced a taste of Japanese history. Players fought on the lands of Tsushima with Jin Sakai going against a Mongol invasion. This title first came out in 2017 but soon got a multiplayer expansion, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends two years later. As of January 2022, the game has sold over 8 million copies with its latest addition of  Ghost of Tsushima: Iki Island.

Although, fans are still unhappy with the developers because of the game’s limitation to consoles.
