In a recent Sony Direct restock, several users have complained that even after getting an email from the company, they weren’t able to purchase the PlayStation 5 or faced troubles while placing the order.

PlayStation 5 restock: Users face difficulty in ordering the console

Sony Direct is a way via which users can obtain PlayStation 5 directly from the company. These are invite-only and the invites are sent through e-mail. The company recently conducted a Sony Direct, which didn’t seem to go so well for both the company and the users.
Several users complained that even after receiving an official mail from Sony, they were facing troubles in purchasing the console. Others even said that the consoles were out of stock when they tried placing the order.

Some users even think that the company has just wasted their time and efforts and done nothing to benefit the consumers.
While it is true that the global chip shortage and the pandemic have created massive supply shortages, Sony should also work on improving its services. The company should make sure that the users who have the invite and wait in the virtual queues shouldn’t be left out due to some technical issue.
