PlayStation Plus offers online multiplayer open weekend at no extra cost

During PlayStation Plus’ yearly celebration weekend, fans who own PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 have some good news. According to PlayStation’s tweet, “Team up with your friends or take on other players in your favorite PS5 and PS4 games, without a PlayStation Plus membership.” The players can benefit from this deal on June 24 and June 25 on the titles in an online mode. However, an internet connection and a PSN account would be needed to access this deal.

Along with this deal, the console makers have gone above and beyond to gift the players. New games, PSN avatars, downloadable wallpapers, and PlayStation Stars challenges are just a few of the many exciting offers from PlayStation. Games like Far Cry 6 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge are available for PlayStation Plus Extra members to download and play. Along with free online multiplayer, there is also an online gaming tournament for the fans. According to the official page, “On 24 and 25 June, PlayStation Plus members and non-members alike can compete to win PlayStation Plus prizes, in a custom Craftworld level within Sackboy A Big Adventure.”

Furthermore, the members can customize their accounts using the avatars from Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and many more. The console makers are also awarding PlayStation Plus star collectibles to the players. Playing certain games like Final Fantasy VII Remakes, Hogwarts Legacy and God of War Ragnarok will grant players access to these stars.
