PlayStation Plus keeps updating its catalog each month to offer new surprises to its subscribers. While 2021 saw the addition of some of the biggest titles to the online service, the new year will start with a bang next month.

According to a recent rumor, PS Plus is set to reveal three iconic games for the existing members.

Industry insider and famous leaker Nibellion just shared a tweet, dropping the big news for PlayStation Plus users. In the tweet, he mentioned a newfound rumor that suggests the debut of three amazing games. And it seems like everyone will surely love these rumored additions to actually come to the platform.

When it comes to the titles themselves, the first month of 2022, as per the rumor, is likely to see these three games on PlayStation Plus. The three games are Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5, and Deep Rock Galactic.

Watch out for three new PlayStation Plus games in January 2022!

Going into the details, Persona 5 Strikers is expected to arrive for the PS4 console on PlayStation Plus. In this game, the players will go through the journey of Phantom Thieves while also going against corruption. Persona 5 Strikers is an action RPG, developed by Omega Force and P-Studio, while Sega is its publisher.

Basically, the title is a crossover between Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series and Persona 5. It is set six months after the events of the original Persona 5.

The second rumored game is Dirt 5, which is developed and also published by Codemasters. It is a simcade racing game and was initially released last year in November. On Metacritic, the title has a metascore of over 70.

On PlayStation Plus, it’s expected to launch for both the PS5 and PS4 consoles.

When it comes to the third and last rumored title, it’s none other Deep Rock Galactic. The 2018 game is developed by Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. The cooperative first-person shooter could make its debut on both the PS5 and PS4 platforms.
