As the world prepares for the much-awaited Christmas weekend, Sony has revealed its fascinating plans for the coming weekend, which involves offering players the chance to try out PlayStation Plus’s online multiplayer feature free of charge.

The online multiplayer is originally a part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service. But, what there’s a catch. The feature will be available to PS console owners (PS5 and PS4) across the world to test on one condition. PlayStation Plus: free online multiplayer weekend

According to the announcement on Twitter, starting from December 18 at 12:21 AM through December 19 at 11:59 PM local time, players will be able to access online features of all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 titles that offer an online mode free of cost.

Players don’t need to have a PS Plus subscription but will require an internet connection and a mandatory PlayStation Network account.
