The console parent  Sony is a renowned film distributor and publisher. In 2021, it launched a movie streaming service called the ‘Bravia Core’ that streamed Sony-labeled movies on Bravia TVs and some specific devices. However, the company has decided to rebrand the service and cater the idea to the parents’ most hardcore fanbase, the gaming fans.

Through a blog post, Sony announces changing the Sony Pictures Core, (formerly called Bravia Core) in collaboration with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. This massive merger would allow the console players to access a catalog of up to 2,000 Sony-produced movies. These include Uncharted, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Ghostbusters, and many more.
