Sony is about to unveil Xbox Box Game Pass competitor with a new PlayStation service platform
PlayStation service platform will offer multiple tiers of the service, starting from basic to higher in terms of titles and price points. The most tier will give players access to free monthly games and online games (much like PlayStation Plus).
Similarly, the more expensive and higher tiers will throw in the gaming library just like Game Pass, making it one of the most anticipated competitors of the widely loved service platform. Above all, the third tier (the most expensive one) will have PlayStation 1, PS 2, PS 3, and PlayStation 4 games in the library.

This means players have all the freedom to play some classic titles from the previous console. This particular tier also offers the freedom to stream games. Clearly, Sony Interactive Entertainment is trying to explore new areas of gaming with their brand new subscription service. Evidently, adding a new and improved subscription service to give equal competition to Game Pass is definitely something Microsoft has to think about.

However, unfortunately, something worth noting here is the big key difference between Game Pass and Spartacus; the biggest PlayStation titles won’t be available on day 1 on the new service.
Moreover, at this point, nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Sony. So, it’s better to take this news with a grain of salt.
