PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 are set to lose one of their exclusive titles to Xbox next month again. A recent online leak seems to assure that Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is making its way to Xbox consoles soon in the future. The base game was released a few months ago and received decent reviews from the players. In fact, the original game was free for PlayStation Plus subscribers way back in April 2021.

However, from next month (November 2021) it will be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. The price difference between the enhanced version and the original one is quite negligible.  A digital enhanced version of the game will cost around $39.99. The retail copy is for $49,99 while the collector’s edition costs around $149.99.

Believe it or not, this is not the first time Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is getting such a rumor. Earlier this month, ESBR (rating board) listed the game on its website and revealed that it would also be coming to Xbox consoles.

PlayStation exclusive Oddworld: Soulstorm is making its way to Xbox?

It’s still unclear if this enhanced version is going to take over the original game completely or it will get a price drop after the release of Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition. The enhanced version of the game has a lot of positive changes in gameplay quality.

It will feature improved gameplay mechanics, all the updates of the original game, and some new content as well. It sounds pretty promising at this point. The exact date of release is still a mystery. But obviously, November is nearly here, so they will definitely announce the exact date very soon. However, this news is not official and the game’s developers have yet to confirm that it will get a release on Xbox as well. It’s better to take everything as a leak only.
