September will be a good month for gaming, and PlayStation has big plans for the month and the final quarter of the year.

To give an insight into their plans for 2021-2022, PlayStation plans to host an event and confirmed the dates yesterday via Twitter. The PlayStation Showcase 2021 takes place on September 9, 2021, at 1:00 pm Pacific Time / 9:00 pm BST / 10:00 pm CEST. To games being presented have not been disclosed yet to uphold the mystery around the event. Although a few titles certainly come to mind.

The title was initially planned for a release in 2021, but as of now, there is nothing to show for it except a teaser.

There were no talks about the sequel at any of the major events this year and rumors suggest Showcase 2021 will finally be the one. A look at the gameplay will definitely be a long shot, but fans might get a trailer for the game.

Hideo Kojima confirmed the final trailer of the title launches on September 8, 2021, ahead of the game’s release on September 24, 2021.

Sony Announces Disappointing News Regarding Horizon Forbidden West for PS4 and PS5

PlayStation is expected to showcase the latest trailer live at the event even though it comes out a day before. We might even get some new information, but it seems unlikely.

Pragmata

As for Pragmata, fans have no new information after the release of the trailer last year. The game is supposed to release in 2022 but there is no specific window yet. It would be great if fans could get to know which quarter can they expect the game to come out in.

Horizon Forbidden West

The new Horizon game launches on February 18, 2022, and comes in five different editions, and is already available for pre-order. Fans have had a look at the gameplay and can expect new information at the PlayStation Showcase 2021.

Other games that might make it to the event and fans can expect news about are Gran Turismo 7, Callisto Protocol. If the community does get news about the already confirmed Spiderman for the Avengers Game, the title would see its sales go through the roof.
