Finally, the long wait is over. Spiderman is officially joining the heroes as a playable character on November 30, 2021. The upcoming update includes a hero event to welcome the beloved Spiderman to the lineup. In the official blog post, Crystal Dynamics welcomed Spiderman and wrote, “He must partner with the Avengers to stop this looming threat, and form a tentative friendship with Ms. Marvel and Black Widow while keeping his identity hidden.

“As a hero accustomed to working solo, he struggles with the new dynamics of working with a team. Will he join full time with the Avengers or stay independent in his fight against AIM?” they added.

The company wanted to launch him much earlier this year (2021), but due to some issues, it kept on getting delayed. While the developers assured the fans that Spiderman would join the team very soon, they didn’t specify the exact date of his arrival.
