While a majority of us are still letting the news sink in, a new rumor alleges that Bluepoint Games studio is working on numerous projects. As per video games analyst Millie Amand, the studio is working on a remake and also developing an original project.

Bluepoint Games are reportedly working on two titles

Millie Amand states that the Demon Soul’s developer is currently working on a remake of a beloved game. However, which “beloved game” Bluepoint is working on is up to anyone’s guess. The studio is a known name in the industry and has remade Shadow of the Colossus for PS4 and the recent Demon’s Souls for PS5.

Bluepoint Games has experience in remaking older titles and players can expect the alleged projects that are in the works to turn out be impressive. Amand even explained that their current projects are in no way connected with the Metal Gear Solid franchise.

Neither Sony nor Bluepoint has confirmed this news, but it might be just another way to keep both the titles a mystery. With Sony’s financial help, these two alleged projects might be a reality. Both Sony and Bluepoint might unveil their project next year or maybe even later. PlayStation 5 has a long list of exclusive games planned but seems like Sony is being farsighted here.

The exclusive games line-up for PlayStation 5 is already pretty impressive. And Sony adding another studio under its belt will open up new possibilities. Bluepoint is a great studio and with the right push, the studio can do wonders for Sony. The move looks inspired by Xbox and Microsoft’s massive acquisition of Bethesda and all its IPs earlier this year.
