Longtime Pokémon and Converse fans can rejoice. There will be a new collection launching on the occasion of a new collaboration. Pokémon and iconic American apparel brand Converse will be coming together to offer fans something they will surely love.

Pokémon and its all-new merch

Releasing on December 10, this new line of merchandise will have t-shirts, shoes, hats, and much based on the theme of the Pokémon franchise. The involved names took to posting on Twitter, teasing the products which will be available via select retailers.

The reason behind this collaboration is Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. Pokémon is a fan-loved franchise known for its cherished and addictive content across different forms of media, from anime to books.

The iconic Converse Chuck Taylors will now be sported with art from Pokémon. First in the catalog will be the Pokémon x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “First Partners.” The top-end will be black canvas. They will then be styled by the likes of  Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander. Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, and Meowth. A Pokéball will sport the sides of the shoe near the ankle collars.

Fans who wish to explore items apart from the shoes can also go for the apparel items as well. One of the more unique ones is the Pokémon 25th Celebration Hoodie.

Other items that are available for purchase are Pokémon Team and Pikachu tees, sherpa-lined Jigglyouff crewneck, and a wide assortment of hats and other such accessories.

Converse has a long history of partnering with other well-named brands. The long list includes Converse x, Kurt Cobain., Converse x Simpsons. and many, many more.
