PvP Trainer Battles changed how players played Pokemon GO. The long-awaited feature was introduced in 2018 and since then the game changed from being just a Pokemon collecting game. Soon after that, the game added the Pokémon GO Battle League in 2020 and this pushed players to take the mechanic more seriously. While the meta is constantly evolving, there are some Pokemon and strategies that have always dominated the game.

Each Pokemon comes with a unique set of moves and players can select which move to use as the Fast Move and Charged Move. Players get a choice of moves for each Pokemon and it’s up to them to decide what build to follow. With over 1000 Pokemon in the game, it gets difficult to figure out which ones are good for PvP. In order to help you get ahead in the Battle League, we have listed the top 10 Pokemon with tried and tested builds to use.
