Like any other gaming franchise, Pokémon also boasts millions in fan-following worldwide. The renowned gaming series features over 40 Pokémon games, including some iconic remasters. In fact, so far, this month is pretty amazing for all Pokémon fans. After the free weekends in Pokémon Unite, making everything free within the title. Now, the popular cloud-based Pokémon HOME is ready to surprise fans.

It’s true. Pokémon HOME is about to get its biggest update ever. Yesterday, The Pokemon Company announced the big 2.0.0 update, which will expand the service’s compatibility. Which will add three additional titles: Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining Pearl. Isn’t that just amazing? However, the devs have not released the update’s release date, but it’ll drop soon.

The update 2.0.0 is literally the game changer for Pokémon HOME. The entire community looked forward to it for a very long time. Finally, on May 12th, The Pokemon Company announced this good news. According to , “The new update will allow fans to deposited and withdraw Pokémon from these titles, as well as other prior games. That means you could take a Pikachu from Sword and Shield and put it in a different release such as Pokemon Legends: Arceus.”

However, transferring Pokémon to a different game might cause some changes in their fight moves and level. Moreover, it’s just the iceberg’s tip as the upcoming update holds a lot to explore.

What’s new in update 2.0.0?

As of now, Pokémon HOME only featured the National Pokédex. But, this update will introduce Pokédex from Legends: Arceus, Brilliant Diamond, and Pokémon Shining as well.

Besides this, there will be new stickers fans can use for their profiles, which will be unlocked post-completing achievements. However, these stickers will be exclusive to Pokémon HOME’s mobile version. That’s not all. The update will also introduce new features for each Pokémon title, which fans can check out here.
