The recently released latest installment of the Pokemon series: Pokemon Legends: Arceus is seeing some crazy numbers in terms of sales. Just a few days back, this iconic game had one of the biggest launches in Japan for the Switch, selling around a whopping 1.4 million units.

And now, this game’s also scaling new heights in Spain with sales figures as remarkable as 140,000 (units sold). In fact, this iconic title has achieved this milestone within the second week of its release in Spain.

The game was launched on the 28th of January, 2022. And this title’s already breaking sales records. With such inspirational numbers, Pokemon Legends: Arceus has also broken the record set by its predecessor: Pokemon Sword and Shield, which is also another pretty fun game. But the data only applies to Spain.

Moreover, in total, the title has sold over a whopping 6.5 million units worldwide since its release.

When it comes to Spain’s sales numbers for the fourth week of January, the stats indicate Pokemon Legends: Arceus even managed to surpass the sales of FIFA 22 in the European country where soccer is extremely popular.
