The Pokemon Company will release the Isle of Armour first on June 17. There is no official date for the Crown of Tundra, but reports suggest it could launch by fall 2020.

Players can buy the expansion pass from the Nintendo e-shop after the launch. This is the first time a game in the series sees an expansion. The game series has mostly launched new games each year and has not relied on updates for their previous games. This new step could be the direction they move forth with in the future as well.
