Fortnite as a game is like a Pheonix, as it rises from its ashes every time someone thinks that it can’t go any further. That becomes even truer when pro players come to its aid to support its fandom. This was what recently happened with streamer and pro gamer SypherPK during one of his streams along with pro gamer Ninja.

But how is it possible that even after so many complaints from fans and backlash from the community, players like SypherPK and Ninja are in support of the game? Is it because of denial or does it have something to do with the fan base itself?

He said, “Excessive collaborations don’t do anything whatsoever in a negative way.” Furthermore, he added, “It might make them less impactful, but there’s always going to be a group of people who feel super represented with a collab. Like when Naruto came out, I was like Oh My God! This is amazing. It’s like the best collab ever being a huge Naruto fan.”

This was said when Sypher again made sure that everything relies on the fan base and the way the community approaches the game. He explained this said, “Sure maybe if it’s a collab you’re not as interested in you might feel like ah too many collabs, but there’s always gonna be like a group who like just like Oh My God I can’t believe my favorite IP is now on Fortnite.”

What can be the reason fans think that Fortnite is failing?

The basic reason for which fans think that the game has been suffering from excessive collabs is because of the fact that it has become an integral part of the game. Almost every month or sometimes even weeks, we see some new addition in the game, including characters from TV and even from real life. This has made it hard for fans to decide what to play, when to play and whom to play as.

Along with this, there have been several things that the game has to offer, which in fact makes Fortnite extremely confusing at times to understand the mechanics.

Although pro players don’t face such issues because of their regularity, casual players do. As sometimes casual players have to leave the game for days and when they come back, they see too much change that sometimes causes havoc to them.
