However, it could be possible that the actor broke NDA (non-disclosure agreement), which could put his inclusion in jeopardy. The leaks from within the community already suggested that another GTA game won’t release anytime soon. Tom also feels that this title is not going to roll out anytime soon.
“If the post is indeed legitimate, it gives us a real indication that GTA VI is much earlier in development than the ‘GTA insiders’ are claiming.”

Upon further conversations, it was revealed that Dave might not be working on a new GTA title. Rockstar is only focused on developing more content for GTA V. The game is still generating great revenue for the studio, which makes the release of another sequel highly unlikely. It is also being speculated that Dave might be working on another DLC project for GTA V.

Rumors continue to point at the studio picking up the project recently. This suggests that the next iteration of the game is in the early stages. This would roughly put the title’s release 3-4 years away, and it is certainly a depressing piece of news. On the flip side, if you still enjoy GTA V, then more content is indeed going to roll out in the next few years.
