The streaming industry is in a state of flux. Amazon-owned Twitch‘s policies are prompting creators and streamers to migrate en masse to other platforms. Over recent months, some of the most popular creators on Twitch have left the platform for Kick. Most of these streamers, including xQc and Amouranth, signed staggering deals with the up-and-coming streaming platform. The latest name from the gaming industry to have gone over to Kick is FaZe Clan member Nickmercs, who has reportedly signed a one-year contract with Kick worth $10 million.

Now, the deal has attracted the attention of Pro Bowl Star winner Chad “Ochocino” Johnson, who wants a piece of the action. Through a recent series of posts on X, Johnson looks to reach out to Nickmers with the possibility of getting himself a similar deal with Kick.

On 19th October, FaZe Nickmercs took to X, formerly Twitter, to announce his arrival on Kick. In a short video clip, Nickmercs can be seen “kicking down” a set of heavy doors indicating a new era. The Mfam owner wrote “a new chapter” as he embarks on a new, albeit non-exclusive, partnership with Kick. His recent action has drawn the attention of a former NFL star, who also seems to be interested in a similar deal for himself.

Chad “Ochocino” Johnson was a wide receiver and was considered one of the sport’s best during his prime. The former Miami and Cincinnati star did not exactly have a career worthy of ballads but did pretty well for himself throughout his journey. After Nickemercs announced his stepover to Kick, Johnson reached out to the streamer through X and talked about the possibility of him signing a similar deal with the green platform.
