“Probably Best to Forget…” – Super Smash Bros. Director Makes a Brutally Honest Admission On His Future

Super Smash Bros. series creator Masahiro Sakurai is not doing anything right now as far as a new game is concerned. He just made it clear to all the fans who were impatiently waiting for something from the game designer. In a recent interview, Sakurai asked all the Super Smash Bros. lovers to just forget him for a while. Because he won’t reveal anything unless there is an actual project going on.

Masahiro is a Japanese video game designer and songwriter. He is famous for designing the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. franchises. In addition to this, he also led the design team of Meteos in 2005.
Meanwhile, coming back to the creator himself, an industry insider named Kody NOKOLO on Twitter, recently shared a tweet regarding Masahiro Sakurai.
The final question is whether he has a message for 4Gamer readers, but he says he doesn't really have anything to say except this:

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro hasn’t decided on a new game just yet
While mentioning various takeaways from his interview, NOKOLO also highlighted the creator’s one important line in his tweet. The translation from Sakurai’s statement read:
“Doing anything else is going to take some time, so it’s probably best to forget about me for a while.”
Currently, Sakurai is not working on anything fresh and urged fans to not wait for any updates from him. Neither a new entry in Super Smash Bros. series, nor any other game. So whatever comes next, it is going to take some time unless revealed otherwise by Sakurai himself. He also praised the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the amazing content they’ve released in 2021 in the interview.
