Looks like Ubisoft has accidentally revealed the release date of its upcoming game, Rainbow Six Extraction, previously known as Rainbow Six Quarantine. According to the recently updated official Ubisoft blog, the upcoming co-op title is all set to release on 20 January 2022.

Originally, the title was supposed to release in September 2021, but because of some unavoidable issues, it was pushed to 2022. Ubisoft issued an official statement to announce the delay, as reported by VGC reads, “The goal with the decision to delay both of these games is to give more opportunities for players to test, play firsthand and give feedback to ensure we are bringing the best experience to market and allow them to reach their full potential.”

Way back in summer 2021, Ubisoft also had to rename Rainbow Six Quarantine to Rainbow Six Extraction due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation all over the world. However, Ubisoft is yet to formally confirm this release date. The official blog post which was released way back in June 2021 has been updated recently.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a great PVE experience

Rainbow Six Extraction was revealed way back in 2019. It is a PVE experience where three teams will fight against a dangerous alien threat known as Sprawl. Basically, the game’s main objective is to eradicate all threats, and there are also some missions such as collecting intel that the player will need to participate in to make progress in the game.

To get some extra rewards, players can also choose to play extremely difficult map zones, but players will need to be very cautious with each step as there are always threats right around the corner.
