As is already known, PlayStation Vita is a handheld gaming device, that was launched more than a decade ago in 2011. It came as a successor to the PS Portable, while also being a competing rival to Nintendo’s 3DS back in the day.

YouTube channel Modern Vintage Gamer recently dropped an interesting video showcasing a mindboggling possibility. And it’s not just a theoretical thing, at all, but an actual one indeed. PlayStation Vita apps can now run on the Nintendo Switch, according to the clip below.

The channel mentioned that a developer named xerpi shared some amazing details about the project related to this experiment. With this, it’s possible to execute native PS Vita apps on a Nintendo Switch. Again, it’s not any kind of emulation trick but a properly functioning PlayStation-based app running on Switch natively.
