Players are busy enjoying the Multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, increasing levels before Season 1 makes its way next month. Although the online experience has been fun for most of the users, some players recently discovered few bugs as well. Some of them are actually rare and could even ruin the overall experience.

Modern Warfare 3 features an improved Multiplayer setup, compared to its predecessor. The movement speed has become better now with some of the iconic mechanics making a return. Plus, there are many returning maps as well. However, one mysterious glitch has now caught the attention of some players during Search and Destroy games.

What’s the latest Search and Destroy glitch in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3?

A player took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the matter. The individual revealed in a clip that he was playing a game of Search and Destroy in Modern Warfare 3 when something unexpected happened. The glitch allows one team to get notified when an enemy attempts to defuse a planted bomb in the most unimaginable way possible.

In the gameplay clip, one can clearly see the player planting a bomb and then moving towards a corner to hide. Then he opens the Tac map while hovering over the planted bomb. In the next few seconds, a message pops up on the map, indicating that the player needs to ‘DEFEND’ the bomb because the enemy is attempting to defuse it.

In a way, this weird bug can simply alert one team of the other team simply using the Tac map trick. As of now, the devs haven’t really acknowledged this glitch as the game hasn’t been out for too long. But they will have to address this situation in case more players end up reporting it in the coming days. After all, it gives an unfair advantage to one side if any player is already aware of it and how to execute it against the enemies in a match.

This isn’t the only bug, though. There’s one that enables the players to actually plant the bomb outside of the plane in the map of Terminal, during Search and Destroy matches. That glitch is yet to be addressed as well by Sledgehammer.

Apart from the few instances, however, it looks like Modern Warfare 3 has been fluid and enjoyable for most of the users so far. It’s now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC worldwide.
