Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of the world-renowned game-developing studio Rockstar games, once had a really hefty cancellation price for their unannounced game. This was so expensive that it could have produced five times the budget of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.

With RDR 2 already getting enough traction, Take-Two interactive was planning on releasing a long-awaited game that was already in production. But with a worldwide pandemic, several technical bumps, and a mind-numbing budget loss, the game got canceled.

But with the latest change in their work ethics and allowing developers and artists to work in a much more comfortable environment, it seems like the company has been taking some leaks. This was speculated because of the fact that the change in the pace might have left some loose ends for the company, which made GTA 6 footage leak recently.

That is why it seems back in November last year, Take-Two had to let go of the unannounced game to make it easier for the company and the employees to make things more sublime than before. Thus making sense of why there is a sudden change in the development team’s mood and tone. It proves that it is very unlikely for the studio to close any upcoming video game after this massive change in their policies.
