The story of Fortnite and the saga of the mysterious Zero Point energy source continue to unravel astonishing things in Fortnite. The events of Chapter 1 of the game led the island to a black hole, and it opened doors of the multiverse. Now, the struggle to harness the powers of Zero Point has brought various beings to the island in Chapter 2. There is also the ongoing spy war between Ghost and Shadow operatives.
A great contender in ‘The Imagined Order’ established a foothold on the island. Sadly, things did not stay the same for much longer as Galatucs and the alien invasion totally upset their rule. The current season of Fortnite saw alien species taking over the Battle Royale game with an iron fist. The upcoming Operation Skyfire will once again change the balance of power, and here’s what truly happened in this season that leads to this event.

Recapping the storyline of Fortnite right up to the Skyfire event
Initially, it was hard to understand their mission statement, but as the dust settled, their true motives became apparent. This alien life has been recognized as ‘The Last Reality’ and it is indeed after the Zero Point energy source. The epic finale will see the tussle between the Imagined Order (IO) and the massive alien vessel fighting to secure the energy source. Ever since the invasion began, The Imagined Order, together with Dr. Slone, kick-started a resistance to battle these foreign beings.
The IO operatives brought new technological advancements and weapons to combat the intruders. This organization was also after Jon Jones and wanted him to stay loyal. However, things did not go as the org had originally planned and Jonesy abandoned them. Meanwhile, aliens were busy running weird tests and capturing various points of interest to create a habitable environment.

Another important story point is the investigation of Batman in Zero Point comics and its conclusion. This storyline revealed the deeper connection between Dr. Slone and the outside world. Surprisingly, she has been working with Lex Luthor to bring powerful DC Comics superheroes like Superman, Flash, Wonderwoman, Batman, and more to combat the threat of the aliens.
Dr Slone also managed to get hold of everyone with information about the order and managed to wipe their memory clean. This act alone makes her a bit of an antagonist, who certainly doesn’t have good intentions.

More shocking revelations states that the Ariana Grande concert did not really include her original self. It was a clone all along that was used to scan everyone’s memories in the pursuit of the energy source.

This mysterious object is safely hidden at IO’s underground base. The destruction of each area only served a bigger purpose for the aliens. They wish to take over the entire island, wipe every single human being and locate the zero-point. This leaves us siding with the IO order as our only hope in the season finale.
