The upcoming Call of Duty title features a classic game mode

The OG fans of the Call of Duty series may remember War mode in WWII. It was a fan-favorite mode that mesmerized the players with its changing storyline. This mode had the standard attackers and defenders duking it out. However, the objective of each match-up changed as the attackers pushed forward. This game mimicked real-life scenarios in a war zone. Now it is rumored to be returning with Call of Duty Modern Warfare III.

But that’s not all the rumors that have surfaced. According to a leaker, the devs are working on issues players complained about in the prequel. Furthermore, the classic mini-map and perks are also making a comeback. These perks are returning in the form of equipment like helmets, vests, and boots. One such perk that has caught the eyes of the fans is the ‘Ninja perk’. Another notable perk is the ‘Marathon perk’.

However, for now, none of these leaks have got an official confirmation. So fans are advised to take these rumors with a grain of salt. Furthermore, the leaks are coming from the game’s internal alpha. So the developers might also remove the changes brought to the public via the leaks by the time beta tests of the title roll out.
