Recent Call of Duty Rumors Hint at a Premium Modern Warfare II DLC Campaign Releasing in 2023

Call of Duty fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Modern Warfare II to hit the shelves. To hype the fans, they also released a live-action trailer. But, amidst all this hype for the game’s release, there are rumors about Modern Warfare II.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is the direct sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot series. The upcoming shooter will release on October 28, 2022. This game’s events are set two years after the 2019 title. The game will revolve around Task Force 151, who would have to resolve a critical situation under control while also dealing with a terrorist organization and drug cartel.

Call of Duty to release a premium DLC for Modern Warfare in 2023
There are a lot of rumors about the Call of Duty developers going on a year-long hiatus after releasing their upcoming Modern Warfare II. This would be the first time for the developers not releasing a game annually and taking the time off. However, recent rumors hint that this wouldn’t mean fans would miss out on some new Call of Duty next year.

Recently, rumors popped out that the developers might not release a new game next year but a DLC. Developers Infinity Ward might release additional premium content for their upcoming Modern Warfare II. The leaker also revealed the premium DLC might include a pack of hit maps from their previous title for the multiplayer mode.

However, these are still rumors, and publishers and developers Infinity Ward are still silent about it. But they claimed the Call of Duty series will get some premium content in 2023. So, we need to wait and see if this rumor proves to be true or not. It would be interesting to see more content in Modern Warfare II.
Leaks about an Advanced Warfare sequel
Recently, there have been rumors about developments of an Advanced Warfare sequel. Further, this game’s developers Sledgehammer Games have worked on several CoD titles, including Vanguard and World War II. They also helped Infinity Ward develop Modern Warfare 3 and the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot.
