While most mods are graphical upgrades to certain aspects of the game, there are some that make the game outright hilarious. One such modder uploaded a video to their YouTube, which introduces one of the most famous coyboys to the RDR universe.

A modder named “eli_handle_b․wav” uploaded a video on YouTube. In this video, they replaced the character model of the protagonist with Woody. For those who aren’t familiar with Woody, he’s a renowned animated cowboy. He made his debut in the Toy Story movie series and quickly became one of Pixar’s most iconic animated characters.

The modder uploaded a short video to YouTube with Woody in a montage of cutscenes in the Red Dead Redemption 2 game. Actor Tom Hanks plays Woody in the movies, and the voiceover for the modded model utilizes his voice. The mod used to create the clip was the Rampage Trainer, Red Dead Freecam v1.4.

The clips show some of the most memorable cut scenes from the game with a Woody twist to it. Many fans of the game have noticed the clip, and it has already reached over 500,000 views in under a week. This clip got the attention of many fans who were left in splits after watching the video.

The comments section of the video was exploding with fans sharing their opinion on what they had just witnessed. While many fans were amazed, others were left speechless and confused.

Among all the comments, the one that stood out was made by a user who stated “Ooh now we gotta see Buzz Lightyear in Halo or Dead Space” giving fans some hope for future modded videos.

Another comment said “Gotta love how Woody’s dialogue matches the situation lol This is some 10 outta 10 work, damn fine job” sharing their opinion on the dialogues matching the cut scenes. The commenter also stated how this clip is a perfect 10 in terms of a piece of work.

Buzzlighter won’t get to steal the spotlight this time. One user jokingly said, “Great to have Woody’s origin story for once. Buzz gets all the credit of having a cool history, but imagine RDR3 if Woody was still around!” This was their humorous way of saying that although Walt Disney Pictures didn’t expand on Woody’s backstory, the modder came in to fill the gap with this clip.

While Woody might look like a strong candidate for the Red Dead Redemption series, this fan-made video shows the possibilities of such collaboration between the studios.
