Red Dead Redemption seems like a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch!

According to the Switch owners, this new version of Red Dead Redemption sits perfectly with the console. It uniquely gives the opportunity to play the game on the move. But this is just the surface of what the new version of the Rockstar Game project has to offer in Switch. Although the developers haven’t made a lot of efforts to change the 2010’s experience which is a major criticism point, a lot of elements work well for the Switch release. These range from visual standpoints to performance cover.

  • Visuals

The Nintendo version has essentially the same content as for PlayStation 4 even for the Undead Nightmare expansion. In addition, the multiplayer mode of the original game is chopped off. But critically analyzing the visuals, the game does seem like an improvement over the Xbox 360 experience. The resolution is enhanced as per the display of the portable Switch, the cocked version runs at 1080p on the other hand the handheld version runs at 720p. The visuals are more detailed and well defined even for the farthest of frames. Thus, the presentation of the narrative exceeds the prior experience.

  • Comparing Performance

Overall, Switch provides a very solid and competitive return when compared to PS4, which takes us to performance. Nothing here should be a surprise. It runs at 1080p with all these settings and at 30 frames per second on Switch, making it more reasonable to see 30fps here than on PS4. We’re still getting a great 1080p30 return even though the Tegra X1 chipset at its core isn’t on par with Sony’s home console in terms of specifications.
