Now, another anticipated horror release has revealed its global release timings and fans are over the moon! Remedy Entertainment‘s Alan Wake 2 has been the talk of the town for a long time and now the fans have learned when the surreal franchise will return to haunt their dreams.
Remed had revealed that Alan Wake 2 would be the longest game from the studio and naturally fans of the survival horror series were enthralled by the prospects. Its predecessor set new standards in the horror RPG niche and Alan Wake 2 looks to carry on the legacy with new nightmares this spooky season.

A recent post on X, formerly Twitter, informed the community of the launch dates and timings for Alan Wake 2 on Xbox consoles. The incoming release will launch across the globe on 26th and 27th October and things are looking bright for fans of the bleak. Alan Wake 2 will be released across the East Coast (New York) at 12 AM, on 27th October while fans on the West Coast (Los Angeles) look to play the game from 9 PM, on 26th October.

The upcoming narrative-driven psychological horror game promises a lot of things for fans of the genre and excitement can hardly be contained. While the first game was under the radar for most of the community, the devs decided to go fully mainstream with the second installment.

Alan Wake 2 Was Made By A Team of 130 Developers With Over 4 Years of Development Time
Along with New York, Sydney, Auckland, Helsinki, London, Berlin, and Sao Paolo are also to receive the game on 27th October. As nightmares look to take control of the living realm, fans await a creepy voyage starting next week.

Alan Wake 2: A long-awaited follow-up
The devs also informed the community that Alan Wake 2 has been developed by a dedicated team of 130 designers over 4 years. This only provided more fodder to the speculative talks. The devs also decided to postpone the game’s release after initial plans of launching in mid-October. Alan Wake was released in 2010 and the community has requested for a long time for a sequel to progress on its story.
One of the devs disclosed that Alan Wake 2 had been in the talks for almost a decade. If this doesn’t tickle the fancy of all the survival horror fans out there, we wouldn’t know what would!
