Square Enix’s upcoming title, Guardians of the Galaxy, is turning out to be a good (if not great) game. While the game is still a month or so away, a recent hands-on preview enabled some players to experience the game early.
And so far, the impressions have been quite positive. This is a great sign for the publisher after the disastrous debut of the first Marvel game Marvel’s Avengers. The game was a highly anticipated title, but it failed to capture players’ sentiments due to various reasons. However, the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game is looking to change that narrative.

First impressions of the new Guardians of the Galaxy game are in, and they seem to be good

Several players got to play the new Guardians of the Galaxy game early as part of the hands-on preview. And looking at their reviews, Square Enix seems to have done a good job. It is good that the developers learned from their blunders in their previous ventures and tried to avoid them.
Players are impressed with the combat mechanics and how everything works. In Guardians of the Galaxy, you will only be able to control Star-Lord but will be able to command or talk to your teammates. Players will also be able to use the abilities of their teammates during combats, if and when needed.

Star-Lord also has its own unique abilities and attacks. In between missions, players can also pass their time in their ship, named the Milano. It basically acts as your resting and chilling place. You will also need to solve different puzzles in order to get different skins and rewards.
The Guardians of the Galaxy game has managed to keep the element of fun that we all have come to love. This is something that many players will feel pleased about as it is a significant aspect of these Marvel characters.
