The Resident Evil franchise has unleashed yet another memorable experience with its latest title. Resident Evil; Village has managed to win over fans and it also lived up to the expectations. The title garnered an impressive hype, and it was further bolstered by a key character in Lady Dimitrescu. This tall Vampire lady appeared once in the demo gameplay, which made her an important attraction for gamers.

Fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts about this terrifying vampire, while some were just mesmerized by her beauty. Recently, the actress who played Lady Dimitrescu sat down for an interview and shared her process of becoming the tall vampire lady.

Resident Evil: Village actress spill the beans about Lady Dimitrescu

In an interview with PC Gamer, Maggie Robertson revealed her secrets about voicing and portraying her character. The internet has grown to call her the tall vampire lady, as the gaming studio didn’t reveal the name in initial days.

” In the performance capture studio they taped a weird half-hat thing to my helmet, and despite it looking interesting, it was actually really helpful to me as an actor. I got a sense of where Lady D’s hat would sit, and I played with the idea of her looking up at people under the brim. And the hat kind of curves as well, so I incorporated that into her physical movement. Nothing ever happens in a straight line when she moves. If she’s gonna look to the side, she’s gonna wind her way there. Everything is very indirect and curvy about her movements.”

A friend’s suggestion led her on the pathway of acting

Maggie decided to make her career in acting because of a friend’s suggestion. She then fell in love with the art form and even pursued her graduation in BA degree in Theater from Muhlenberg College. She went on to pursue a master’s in acting from LAMDA (the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) in England and it also played a key role in training her for the role.

Maggie did not know about the gaming industry initially and her move to LA exposed her to the gaming industry. She also revealed that voicing Lady Dimitrescu wasn’t a simple task. She carried a mix of mid-Atlantic accents to accurately portray her.

The tall lady carried a flair of superiority, which shows in her voice. However, this had definitely posed a challenge for her to voice the character in a manner that did justice to this character attribute.
