With a long thread of tweets by author and journalist Matt Taibbi, it was revealed that someone actually left the Hunter Biden laptop to a repair person on purpose and made sure to fill the entire storage of the device with explicit images of Hunter Biden and even some other images of him in uncompromised situations with several women.

Notably, Taibbi wrote in the thread that, “Twitter took extraordinary steps to suppress the story, removing links and posting warnings that it may be “unsafe.” Further down in the thread, it read, “The decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role.”

Hasan Piker reveals his take on the matter

Notably, Hasan while reacting to the tweets and acknowledging the fact that the recent leak regarding the Hunter Biden laptop is also a way to promote a political party and defame another just like it was done previously with the former workforce said, “They [Twitter] took down some of these posts. We looked at some of these posts last night on the Wayback machine and a lot of these posts were just Hunter Biden’s d*ck.”

He then further added, “Literally a lot of the posts were just straight-up revenge p*rn, which you’re not allowed to have up on the internet. That is a liability for the platform itself. Like Twitter could get sued. There could be massive, straight-up game-changing implications, or how all platforms are run if you leave revenge p*rn and stuff like that up.”

Then regarding what can be the effect of the case on Twitter, Hasan Piker said, “The Safe Harbor Clause is what, like basically, is the small thread that holds this entire social media apparatus together. And if you f**king allow that, if you allow your platform to spread so much hatred or otherwise like revenge p*rn and illegal things, you know you’re gonna have the government want to regulate it. And nobody wants that. That would have genuinely negative implications.”

Hasan even said in a very angry tone regarding the leak being called “free speech” that “revenge p*rn is not free speech.”
