Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is now the uncrowned emperor of YouTube. The numbers that the star garners are in millions, and his audience base is broadening as we speak. He is also expanding his entrepreneurial ventures on the other side as well.

The journey of the star continues at full throttle, but did you know that all these began as part of an interesting revenge? Let’s take a trip back that memory lane and see where it all began.

The starting point of the MrBeast journey

Jimmy is now one of the biggest and most popular figures on the internet. He can proudly boast the massive subscriber count his YouTube page has, which now has made him the king of the video-sharing platform. But, the reason why he started all this is quite interesting.

The internet sensation started his content-making journey as a means of bringing out the cyber attacks he faced when he was 11 years old.

In the interview Donaldson gave sometimes back to FLAGRANT, he talked about the aforementioned incident. The little MrBeast liked to play games often. One day when he was playing it, someone started randomly coming and attacking him in the game, absolutely destroying Jimmy. The hacker continued to do so daily, which really broke Jimmy’s patience threshold.

Finally, he decided to do something against these constant attacks. He created a video about this and called out these attacks. Though he said that the voice in that video was sort of messed up. Jimmy wanted the devs to take a look at the issue, but what the video actually did was garner him 20,000 views.

This was an enlightening moment for little Jimmy. From there, step by step, Donaldson started building his empire.

Andrew later asked Jimmy an interesting question. He asked Jimmy what he would say to the hacker if he ever sees him. Jimmy laughed and said he would thank the hacker for making him rich. He even added that he would give a couple of thousand dollars to the hacker. This seems like a typical MrBeast reply and it sure was hilarious.

It is interesting to see how the journey of one of the biggest names on YouTube started. Just like his videos, Jimmy’s career start in content creation also was a unique one.
