The eccentric billionaires, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk set aside their difference to mutually praise the latest episode of HBO Max’s hit show The Last of Us. Based on Naughty Dog’s magnum opus game, the television series is racking up high praises even from the 1%. However, there are people who the calling the show’s inclusiveness as “woke” propaganda. 

Written, directed, and co-produced by the original co-creator of the game, Neil Druckmann, and ‘Chernobyl’ famed writer Craig Mazin, The Last of Us show on HBO Max is being considered one of the finest pieces of visual storytelling. Especially after the release of the third episode, the show has taken the world by storm.

On Twitter, Jeff wrote, “Episode 3 of Last of Us is unbelievably good storytelling. I am in awe of Nick Offerman’s performance. Incredible.” If such warm words coming from the owner of one of the biggest companies in the world weren’t surprising enough, the newly appointed CEO of Twitter also jumped into the replies praising the original game and the show. Elon said, “Great game, great show.”

How did the fans react to the third episode? 

While the greatness of the show was able to unite these long-time rivals, it also divided the online community. Although most of the fans and critics spoke highly of the show and praised the time-forwardness of the story, many groups labeled it as “Woke” propaganda. Bashing the writers and the showrunners.
