Rockstar Games Celebrates GTA V’s 10th Anniversary Next Week, Is the GTA VI Announcement in the Pipeline?

One of the largest and most successful games ever made will be turning 10 next week. Yes, it’s GTA V’s tenth anniversary next week, and Rockstar Games is planning a surprise party. The developer is well aware of the fans following their open-world title, and they intend to give everyone something to be excited about.

Maybe that’s why they recently announced some of their plans for this occasion. There would be rewards for GTA V Online players and maybe something about the next sequel, GTA VI.

Is Rockstar Games planning to reveal GTA VI next week?

Ever since GTA VI was a victim of that very elaborate leak last year, everything has changed for the gaming industry. There was a time when Rockstar Games somehow always managed to keep their new games under wraps until the very moment they chose to announce them. And now their largest game has already been revealed to the public so unceremoniously.

But then again, an official announcement is something else, and fans await the time when Rockstar Games will actually show us the completed GTA VI. Speculators everywhere continue to guess when this moment will arrive. It looks like it is not very far now. Everyone is dead sure that this 10th-anniversary celebration for Grand Theft Auto V is when the next installment makes its official debut.

This would be a great occasion if this news regarding GTA VI actually turns out to be true, and it would once again prove that 2023 is indeed the best year for gamers. This year, fans saw some of the most exciting and critically acclaimed titles launch. Games like Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Baldur’s Gate 3, and even Starfield have launched this year.

And so, we come back to the announcement. Here’s hoping that Rockstar Games finally gives us the first look at this game. Then only we can find out if it is the most expensive game of all time or not.
