Rockstar Games‘ apple of the eye Red Dead Redemption was loved equally by its fans and developers. The second installment in the series, Red Dead Revolver, appeared as the company’s best-selling development ever. The Red Dead franchise has received a huge appreciation from players. Its gameplay, and detailed improvisation on the accessibility completely satisfied the gamers. Red Dead Redemption’s craze went to a point where Hogwarts Legacy fans asked for a similar kind of immersion to be included in the latter. 

Recently fans again brought this title under the spotlight. Following the history of this game’s development, fans tried to relish their nostalgic moments with its initially released glimpses.

Recently one Red Dead fan took his Twitter to post the debut look of this game’s demo technical trailer. This trailer was initially released at a press conference hosted by Sony in 2009. This person thanked a GTA fan community for preserving this video- “Throwback: At Sony’s E3 2005, Rockstar unveiled the first look at its work on the RAGE game engine.” 

The video showed the shadow of John Marston on his horseback roaming around a fictional town in America’s west. It surely brought back many nostalgic memories for fans. Furthermore, another interesting piece of news related to the game’s anticipated title was also published. This news confirmed that Red Dead Redemption was previously named Old West Project by the developers. It surely blew fans’ minds away.

Fans seemed overjoyed by the glimpse

Since this post was made on Twitter, Red Dead fans commented showing their huge appreciation and liking toward the game. One fan spotted thinking about the number of work developers vested after the initial tech demo trailer- “I really wonder how much of whatever this was made its way to the final product. Doesn’t seem like much, maybe general look of Armadillo lol.”

People felt that this trailer was probably an initial prototype of the game with basic assets- “I’m going to guess it was just a quick prototype showing with very early assets. None of the assets shown made its way to RDR1. “
