For the past few years, the Rockstar Games community has vested all its power to find one reliable source of information for GTA 6. They have looked out for all possible leaks, rumors, storylines, character reveals, and more. However, there’s nothing that could confirm it to be true. After all, Rockstar has done a great job being tight-lipped about their upcoming game, as it has the potential to become the game of the decade. Moreover, it has put them in an awkward spot as they seem to be under a lot of pressure for production. One mistake, and it would all come falling down. So, to keep their promise of delivering top-notch content, they have decided to keep calm.

Still, some insiders have tried ways to excrete information, talking about when Rockstar would drop some updates about GTA 6. Recently, Tez2 has once again revealed exciting details regarding the game.

Popular Rockstar informant stuns fans with fresh GTA 6 news 

On March 14, 2023, devoted Rockstar insider Tez2 posted a fresh update in the community. He spoke about how the franchise would drop some news soon and that gamers should be ready for it. After all, it’s been a decade since its prequel was released, so it was about time Rockstar came out of the woodwork.

Here’s what Tez2 said in his post, “I ain’t gonna lie. I feel like the next time we could receive some news or an update is around June or July. Likely the latter. If Rockstar were to tease GTA 6 within GTA Online around September or October, it has to be included with the Summer update. And Rockstar is very aware of us data miners. But if Rockstar were to reveal, they would celebrate GTA Online’s 10th anniversary, and provide news on the next title, then including a random event or an activity teasing the next title, like how Treasure Hunt was RDR2 related, won’t be as bad as saying anything prior.”

This is not the first time Tez2 has dropped updates about GTA 6, as he’s been one of the first to reveal information. A few days back, he revealed the possibility of the game dropping in late 2024, but nowhere around 2025. The reason is that there is a high chance of the devs dividing the content and releasing a DLC later for fans. So, if this were to be true, we can firmly look forward to some information starting from June 2023 to the official game by December 2024.
