It seems like Rockstar Games realized how bad its GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition compared to other games from the same franchise. Following the constant backlash and criticism from the players, the developer and publisher decided to go on a different route.
The company is now offering some of its classic games from the past absolutely free of cost. However, the offer applies only to those who own this year’s Definitive Edition’s PC version. And that’s reasonable as well since they are the ones who had a bad experience with the remastered trilogy.
The ongoing promotion will remain available until January 5, 2022, for all the players with a PC version of GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition. They can go for any of the free games mentioned by Rockstar Games as per the offer.

The free games Rockstar is offering to GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition owners include the likes of GTA 5: Premium Edition and also GTA 4: Complete Edition. Moreover, the current promotion also includes Max Payne 3, Bully: Scholarship Edition, and LA Noire.
