Rubius made this announcement amidst their two-year feud, where the two constantly took shots at one another.

Here’s what Rubius said whilst putting up his fists to the cameras. “X, I’m waiting for you… Come.'”Apart from that, Rubius set a ground rule saying none of the participants could train before the match.

It was just a matter of minutes before xQc reacted to this information on his stream. “I’m gonna fold him in half like a f**king stack of papers. I’ll give you guys the response you want,” xQc said, “If we both agree to the regimen of no training except for physical conditioning, I’ll fight him next year.”

Later, he put out a request saying that if the fight was to happen, he would want a lot of money involved.

This conflict has been simmering for a while. After Rubius suggested a possible showdown between the two in May 2021, the two began exchanging comments on the prospect of a confrontation. “I want to fight you. I [will] kick your a**. Stop copying me”
