Rockstar Games have been teasing the community with GTA 6 leaks and updates. Although there hasn’t been any official confirmation of the surfacing rumors, the developers might be enjoying all the attention the series is getting in the tentative final development phase. With all the existing speculations around the developments, another intriguing rumor has made its way to the headlines.

The makers have had a long affair with single-player games. Over the years, the developers have established a great brand value with their products that focus on this experience. Popular titles like Red Dead Redemption, GTA, Bully, and so many more just signify the style statement of the creators. But the latest inside sources reveal GTA 6 might be different. Rockstar Games might be planning a non-conventional co-op story mode for the upcoming title. 

Moving on from the single-player legacy, GTA 6 is set to dominate the co-op world

Following the success of Rockstar’s single-player ventures, the makers have never tried to dabble in co-ops. But according to an insider leak, GTA 6 will likely be an experimental leap from the conventional format of Rockstar Games. However, there have previously been glimpses of co-op gameplay in their titles. But with GTA 6, the company aims at a more substantial co-op narrative attempt. 

Considering the legacy the developers have banked on for years, the bold change, although not officially confirmed, has all the fans intrigued. They are skeptical about the possibility of a non-conventional Rockstar title. 

Earlier, there were rumors of the Bonnie and Clyde duo being the source of inspiration for the story of GTA 6. While the rumors hinted at the real-life duo being the poster face of the story, a co-op story mode seems like a rational adaptation to complement it. It will be interesting to see how the makers differentiate the two protagonists’ gameplay from GTA V’s three protagonists.
