Another day goes by and Rockstar Games still hasn’t released any news about GTA 6. While the leak of 2022 disclosed a lot of what players can expect from the game, it seems like Rockstar is yet far from an official statement. With the anticipation building for years, fans have been getting impatient to see what the devs have been working on.

As fans wait for official news on the game, many resort to looking out for leaks and rumors about the game. When it comes to rumors, most of the time the center of attention is the alleged female protagonist Lucia. Being the first playable female character in a 3D GTA game, fans can’t wait to see her story unfold.

The bright hacker in GTA 6

So far, according to leaks, we know that GTA 6 will have two protagonists that players can control in the game. While there is a male character in the game, the female character in the game is receiving the most attention. The female character is speculated to be called Lucia and will be the first female playable character since the original game. In the first GTA, players got to choose between not one, but 4 female protagonists. While that was in a different era, it is not fair to call Lucia the first playable female character in GTA.

That being said, Rockstar Games needed to work hard on the new character. Giving her a strong background story and characteristics that define her as a protagonist. While there isn’t much known about her besides rumors about her alleged name and background, a recent leak suggests she will be a smart techie who will be good with computers. Her main skill-set will be the one of a hacker which she will use to commit some GTA-style crime.

This leak comes from a reputed leaker called Tom Henderson, who has been one of the leading sources of information regarding the GTA series. Henderson goes on to describe Lucia as a badass character. He also stated that her character fits very well with what Rockstar is attempting to do. The leaker believes the devs are finding the perfect balance with introducing her to the GTA universe.

Along with news about the protagonist, the leaker also mentioned that the map of GTA 6 will change with every DLC. Just like in real cities, stores don’t remain forever, streets change and so does construction. GTA 6 will replicate this in the game to give it a more real feeling. Players can also expect the release of new locations with each DLC, which will help Rockstar expand the game.

Another interesting addition to the game will incorporate cryptocurrency as an in-game currency, adding a modern twist to the economic aspects of the game. While everything is just speculation and rumors, fans are advised to take this with caution.
