This title, to everyone’s surprise, was a 007 project. It is an original James Bond title made by the creators of the Hitman series; insane, isn’t it? But this is not it; they are also working on an action RPG codenamed Project Dragon.

This second game sounds even more interesting when one thinks about the legacy of this studio. But besides being the first ever medieval rpg from this developer, this game has something else no one knew before now.

Microsoft is going hard, buying exclusive after exclusive for its Xbox consoles. One of such acquisitions, as everyone might know, is currently stuck for a while. But that does not mean they do not have their eye on anything else. A recent leak has revealed that IO Interactive, the prestigious developer of the Hitman series of games, is working on an action RPG game.

A recent leak also suggests that this action RPG would also be an Xbox and PC exclusive. While this prospect might sound very exciting, for others, it’s pretty confusing. The confusion stems from the fact that, a while ago, this developer announced a 007 title. They even announced that this game was pretty far away from launch and that fans would have to wait a long time to get their hands on it.

So, it is not clear which game this studio is currently working on. Is it the James Bond title or this action RPG? They might even be working on both of these games simultaneously. Previously, it was revealed that this studio is in the process of expanding, and maybe this is why they expanded—to work on these two games at once.

Whatever it might be, the prospect of an action RPG developed by the creators of Hitman is pretty enticing. So is the fact that this same studio is working on a James Bond game. James Bond actually matches the protagonist of the Hitman series in a number of ways. Fans can already see the similarities between these two titles.

All that fans are supposed to do now is wait for an official announcement, and hope it comes soon enough.
