Brand new reports are teasing an upcoming Nintendo showcase slated for later this year. Over the past four years, the gaming industry has going through a very peculiar change. There was a time when the industry revolved around grand live events, held during the summer. It was the primary outlet for studios to announce their new titles.

However, as the years went on, the grace of these events dwindled. Yet, they remained a point of interest for many fans, keeping the anticipation alive. When the pandemic eventually arrived, the industry swiftly adapted, transitioning towards digital events that soon gained the same hype and anticipation from the community. Rather than a singular, colossal show in the summer, gaming enthusiasts were treated to more frequent and small events.
Among these, Nintendo has a reputation for its highly anticipated online showcases, named Nintendo Direct. Earlier this year, it was reported that E3 has been once again canceled after hearing many big names, including Nintendo, weren’t attending. This was disappointing news for many, as Nintendo always held a great Direct for the event. But new reports suggest, soon there could be a new Nintendo Direct coming our way.
