Gearbox Games has made its name developing a bunch of exciting first-person shooters over the years. These shooters have quirky humor to them and are basically counted among some of the best co-op games out there. Of course, we are talking about the Borderlands series, a series of open-world sci-fi comedy games that do not take themselves too seriously.

Rumored Borderlands 4 might launch later this year with a pleasant new surprise!
Borderlands launched years ago for PlayStation 4, Xbox consoles, and PC to a mixed response. Critics could not help but be curious about its new and interesting open world. Gamers, on the other hand, couldn’t get enough of this game’s loot system.

The sequel improved everything. A more colorful and cheerful version of its predecessor. What else did Gearbox add to it? They added some characters that actually have character, and they added a villain that is credited with single-handedly making the game a success. Even the guns in the game were impressive, each presenting the player with something unique. Every gun had a different ammo type and a different reload animation.

The third installment, released a while ago, improved these aspects further. There’s no doubt that the game was a success. Although some criticized it for being too similar to its previous installment, people bought it just for its excellent co-op.
Hence, it only makes sense if Gearbox is planning a fourth installment. It is said that this installment will include a brand-new character. This character would be named Ayumi, and she would be voiced by an actress named Angie Joh Lee, whose actor’s access page revealed this information.
